As with all epic battles, each must begin near the beginning.
Unfortunately in this case, the game started as a 2on2, with Pacey, Cobra, myself (Rend) and a random player
About 2-3 minutes into the game, the random decided to leave, at this point, I offered to do this Battle Report
which is why there is nothing earlier than what there is...

Initial Matchup Pacey~DT~ Purple Protoss: Lower left

~STV~Cobra Brown Protoss: Lower right

Pacey's Starting

Pacey begins the game with a much more rugged approach, opting for 3 gateways to start. Full shot reveals a forge in the making. Above, in the route to his main, Pacey currently has 5 zealots, and is beginning a cannon defense.
Cobra on the other hand, begins with 2 Gateways, a Cyber core, and gas, a tech based approach. Cobra is currently hefting 5 zealots, with a probe beginning an expansion at his natural expansion. A rough view of Cobras base

Pacey's Cannon fetish begins... The beginnings of Pacey's defense...

In the meantime, Cobra has advanced a bit in tech, and has produced several dragoons, and currently has a Citadel up, and has recently expanded to his natural and to 4:00. All while Pacey set up a defense for his main, and got a Nexus up on his natural.
Cobra techs...
The first blood of war!!
First blood of war
My SCV puts up a fight, but is no match for Cobra's zealots....

Amidst my grumblings for my lost SCV, Cobra manages to continue on, going on the offensive by erecting a pylon at Pacey's entrance.

Cobra begins a pylon Cobra loses a pylon... Stubbornness incarnate...
Cobra begins the first offensive move of the game by beginning a pylon outside of Pacey's entrance. As soon as the pylon's crackling warp field had subsided, Pacey's forces lept into action, tearing the Protossian structure into bits. Undaunted, Cobra begins yet another pylon, this time slightly farther back.
Pacey moves his defenses forward, nearly meeting with Cobras newly established wall. Here, Pacey constructs a pylon, soon after, cannons will follow. Cobra reinforces his outpost

Such senseless violence... Shortly, (about the build time of a cannon) Pacey begins an assault of Cobras outpost in which he killed almost all of the zealots that Cobra had there to kill, but only destroying one of Cobra's vile cannons.

At this point, Pacey pulled his dragoons back under the cover of his one existing cannon, and of 4 others which were even then in production.
Cobra, after the attack Pacey's defenses seemed quite stout, that is until Cobras horde of dragoons showed up, killing all 5 of Pacey's cannons, but dying to Pacey's superior number of dragoons in their effort to break though. Pacey, sans cannons

Tech break!
Pacey goes for a Robotics Facility At this point, both Pacey and Cobra began to step up their technological production, with Pacey going for dual Robotics Facilities, and Cobra opting for Templar, with Storm. Cobra heads for templar

Pacey's dragoons stand fast Cobra, feeling confident, swarms with his dragoons, killing all of Pacey's cannons, but failing to penetrate Pacey's wall of dragoons. Instead of pushing forward with his dragoons, Cobra opted to go for a cannon push, seen in the full shots, in progress. Pacey, held his dragoons fast, never pulling back, even unto death, his dragoons never gave up ground freely. Cobra's Templar reinforce his outpost

Shortly after these pics were taken, Pacey added yet another Robotics Facility, a Templar Archives, a Robotics Support Bay, and an Observary. Soon after their completion, reavers are started in the Facilities, and upon their completion, they headed to Pacey's entrance, where they met with Cobra's wall of cannons and templar.

In the ensuing fray, (during which, my own anticipation got the better of me, and unfortunatly, there are no pics ) Pacey's waves of reavers tore their way through Cobras defenses, but not without casualties.. Cobra's templar squads bombarded Pacey's reavers with Psionic Storms, effectively killing the slow moving machines. However, Cobra's templar could not keep up with Pacey's reaver production, and soon, the cannon wall was no more.

Cobra gone mad... Not to be outdone, Cobra quickly sets up a group of 5 Robotics facilities in his 4:00 expansion.

Meanwhile....
.. Cobra is amassing a vast army of Zealots and Dragoons, preparing for an assault on Pacey's base... I'd rather be sailing....
Pacey is freed Pacey's liberation army.

With all those reavers, Cobra needed a new way of getting into Pacey's base with his newly founded army. What better way could be found than to use shuttles. And with 5 Robotics Facilities, enough shuttles to transport an army can be made with great haste..

Cobra with a lot of shuttles
The same shuttles a short time later... Cobra visits Pacey...

At this moment, Pacey currently has 8 fully loaded reavers at his entrance, en route to the center, hence the bulk of his forces are currently away from this site, but with a small band of dragoons, and his standing cannon defense, Pacey crushed this assault with minor losses.

Pacey's reaver phalanx By the time the drop had been stopped, Pacey's reaver forces were nearly to the center. Upon arriving, they met with a large group of zealots, all commanded by none other than Cobra. The results of this meeting were... messy. 16 dead zealots, 3 dead templar, and 6 dead reavers.
After losing the first wave of his forces (all zealots) Cobra then began to send 1 zealot ahead of a templar, giving the templar enough time to get crucial storms off, which was the only means that Cobra had of effectively killing the horde.
Following up behind his reavers, Pacey unleashes his newest weapon, the Dark Templar. Pacey's secret weapon...

So far, in the course of this game, there has been no need for either side to have cloak detection, and at this moment, Pacey was the only that did have it. Cobra was left with only his scattered cannons to detect for him, which, needless to say, didn't provide near the coverage that he needed.
Pacey's much needed expansion With his newfound security, Pacey bravely attempts an expansion in the center...
... but, all good things must come to an end, as Cobra shows up with another pack of zealots and templar, this time with Observer backup. No comment....
Now, feeling the momentum shift in his favor, Cobra throws up 2 more expansions, at 12:00 and at 11:30. Both are expansions that Pacey would have desperately wanted, as now, he has no minerals left in either his main, or his natural expansion, whereas Cobra has exhausted his main, natural, but is still working on his 4:00 expansion. Ultimately, the resource battle would determine this game.

Pacey, in dire need of minerals, sends his probes to 6:00 to get minerals back to his base, so that he will have enough money to build a nexus to effectivly aquire resources..

Now, Cobra seems headed towards a technological deathblow: Carriers. At his 4:00 expansion, Cobra had set up 4 Starports earlier, and had a Fleet Beacon waiting nearby. Soon after, the Carriers began churning out, awaiting further commands in the center of the map.
Uh oh..

With his newly made carriers, and his legion of zealots, Cobra made the final assault of the game. Meeting with little resistance, since Pacey had no defenses against carriers, Cobra's army made quick work of what was left.
Congratulations were exchanged on a match well fought, and the game was finished.
Personally, I really enjoyed watching this, there were many points at which either side could have won, so to watch these two battle it out was very intriguing, and I hope that sometime in the future that they'll have a Round 2, possibly with me watching (hint hint)
